Allies, Inc has been providing mentorship for young female survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation for 7 years in Central Indiana. We were trained by Christian Association of Youth Mentoring (CAYM) and by adapting their best practices and key concepts for the youth we serve, Allies has become recognized for our innovative mentorship approach in the anti-trafficking field.
In the last few years, Allies has organically connected with organizations across the country who have a desire to create the same impact with the survivors they serve. In response, we have worked to package our mentorship program methodology for other organizations to implement in their local communities.
We are thrilled to announce that we have officially piloted this training with another anti-trafficking nonprofit in Kentucky, Safe Passage.
Working with Allies, we’ve been given a playbook on how to serve trafficked and exploited youth through volunteer-led mentorship. We hoped to inherit a step-by-step guide of the Allies model. That is exactly what we received. We were blown away by the depth, detail, and organization of the tool box we received. When you zoom in, you see the day by day. When you zoom out, you see the long-term. Thank you, Allies. We look forward to serving youth with the tools we’ve been given.

We’ve also been collaborating with our friends at CAYM to equip organizations with which they engage.
Allies engages in a holistic strategy that includes a mentoring program that few others dare to enter. Mentoring the most vulnerable populations takes professional training and unequaled dedication in order to impact lives that have experienced betrayal and exploitation beyond what most of us can imagine. The Christian Association of Youth Mentoring trained the Allies team on evidence-based best mentoring practices which they have adapted and applied to be able to build trust with the girls and young women who are in their care. Our organizations are now partnering to help Christians, who are called to reach those who have been trafficked, to follow Allies example of excellence in mentoring.
