Little Moments & Creative Ways
We are committed to living and pursuing what we do with passion. We believe that God has instilled in each person something creative that is a needed component in the world today. We embrace the opportunity to live out our passion with enthusiasm and joy with the hope of inspiring others to do the same. We want to be known as people with creative passion.
When Allies started more than a dozen years ago, it was creative passion that drove a small but mighty team of everyday people to create a way to make an impact in anti-trafficking efforts in our corner of the world. It’s not uncommon for God to stir the hearts of his people to become passionate about an issue or cause. What is beautiful is when those passions awaken the creativity God puts inside each of us to take action in unique ways! We have seen many people over the years invest in the mission of Allies in unique ways that make a big impact.
Erin Minnich has been a volunteer with Allies for many years. Upon learning about human trafficking, a deep-seeded passion arose in her to not only learn as much as she could, but be tangibly involved in any way possible. As a mom and a teacher, she didn’t have the the capacity to commit to becoming a mentor, but instead has found creative ways to be involved in Allies and support the mission. If you’ve been around a while, she’s someone that you’d likely recognize!
You may have been greeted by Erin’s big smile at our annual Illuminate gala working the registration table. Maybe you ran into her as she was keeping score at a kickball game at Kick for One. Perhaps you had a conversation with her as she set up a booth to represent Allies at an event. What you likely didn’t see is her commitment to bringing human trafficking education to her staff and students. Nor her efforts to help in small ways by providing supplies or making connections on behalf of Allies.
Erin shares that this quote motivates her:
“We only have two choices: do nothing, or do something.”

All of the little moments and creative ways Erin has contributed over the years adds up to a big impact. She inspires us to continue to look use our creative passion to include everyone in our mission and remember how God can take any offering we have and use it for a big Kingdom impact!
